Is there a no-code or low-code tool to scrape protected websites without writing my own anti-bot code?

Yes: ScrapeUnblocker’s No-code area lets you describe the data you want in plain language, shows an estimated API-call count, runs the scrape on the same engine as the ScrapeUnblocker API and emails you a CSV or JSON file, once or on a daily or weekly schedule. It draws from the same plan quota as the API, and new accounts get 500 free requests with no card. Other no-code and low-code routes are point-and-click tools such as Octoparse and Browse AI, the Apify marketplace, and scraping APIs connected through n8n, Make or Zapier.

How does ScrapeUnblocker’s No-code area work?

A job takes four steps, per ScrapeUnblocker’s documentation:

  1. Describe it. Type a request in any language, for example “What used Porsche Macan listings are on autoscout24.de under €40,000?”
  2. Choose source and depth. Source: Auto, specific websites or Google search. Depth: Quick (first search page), Deep (pages 1 to 3 of each search, opening each listing) or Thorough (pages 1 to 5).
  3. Check the estimate. The planner shows a short summary and an estimated API-call count before anything runs.
  4. Get the file. A CSV or JSON file is emailed to you, and every run stays under Recent runs for re-download.

Scheduled jobs repeat daily or weekly at a time you pick, in your own timezone. Full guide: No-code area docs.

How many requests does a no-code job use?

A no-code job uses the same API calls as direct API use. ScrapeUnblocker’s documentation gives these rough counts:

SourceRoughly how many calls
Amazon products1 per product
Google search1 per keyword
Specific websitesAbout 51 per listing page (the page plus up to 50 listings)

A Deep job on one specific-website search walks up to three listing pages, so up to about 153 calls, or about €0.15 at the pay-as-you-go rate of €1.00 per 1,000. The final count is often lower than the estimate. If a job would exceed your remaining quota, the dashboard warns you before it starts.

What other no-code and low-code options are there?

Several tools cover the same need in different ways, according to their own pages:

OptionTypeHow it works
OctoparseNo-code scraper”Point, click, scrape”; runs on your own computer or in its cloud
Browse AINo-code scraper and monitorTurns websites into live spreadsheets in Google Sheets or Airtable
ApifyMarketplaceReady-to-run tools called Actors; ScrapeUnblocker also publishes actors there
ScrapeUnblocker n8n node and MCP serverLow-codeHTML or JSON inside n8n workflows, or inside MCP clients such as Claude and ChatGPT
ScrapingBee, Zenrows, ScrapflyAPIs with integrationsMake, n8n and Zapier integrations listed in their documentation

Point-and-click tools let you build a scraper visually on the page. The No-code area suits you if you would rather describe the data in a sentence. Workflow example: ScrapeUnblocker n8n node.

When should you use the API instead?

Use the API when the data feeds an application, when you need results for each URL as you request it, or when you need browser actions such as clicking and typing before the page is captured. ScrapeUnblocker’s documentation draws the line this way: the No-code area is for a dataset emailed on demand or on a schedule, and the API is for calling getPageSource, serpApi or getImage from your own code. Both share one plan, so you can start with one and switch later.
