This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of our website, API, and related tools (the "Services"). It supplements our Terms and Conditions; terms defined there have the same meaning here. By using the Services you agree to this AUP. We may update it from time to time, and your continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated AUP.

1. General Principles

You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account and API keys, including activity by any sub-users you provision (for example under a whitelabel arrangement). You must use the Services lawfully and only to collect publicly available web content that you have a legitimate basis to access.

2. Prohibited Uses

You must not use the Services, or allow anyone using your keys to use them, to:

Access, or attempt to access, any account, system, or data you are not authorized to access, including by guessing, brute-forcing, or re-using credentials (credential stuffing).
Submit login, sign-in, authentication, or payment details through the Services. The Services do not fetch login, authentication, or payment pages, and do not fill password or payment-card fields; attempting to do so is a violation of this AUP.
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with the authentication, security, or access controls of any target website or system.
Carry out fraud, phishing, spam, distribution of malware, or any other deceptive or malicious activity.
Collect personal data without a lawful basis under applicable data-protection law, or unlawfully collect special categories of personal data.
Infringe the intellectual-property, privacy, contractual, or other rights of any third party.
Place a load on a target that is intended to, or that does, disrupt or degrade that target's service (for example a denial-of-service attack).
Target our own infrastructure, internal networks, or cloud-metadata endpoints, or otherwise probe, scan, or test the security of any system without authorization.
Access or distribute content that is illegal, including child sexual abuse material, or content that is harassing, threatening, or incites violence.
Resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties except under a written agreement with us; any permitted sub-users remain bound by this AUP and by your account's overall limits.

3. Rate and Capacity Limits

Your use is subject to the concurrency and other limits of your plan or agreement. You must not attempt to exceed, circumvent, or disguise those limits, or operate multiple accounts to evade a limit or a suspension.

4. Monitoring and Enforcement

We monitor usage for abuse (for example, keys directed at login or payment pages, or sudden shifts toward sensitive targets) and may review unusual activity. We may refuse, throttle, or block individual requests that violate this AUP.

We may suspend or terminate your account, your API keys, or any sub-user's access immediately and without prior notice if we reasonably believe this AUP has been or is likely to be violated, or where necessary to protect the Services, our other customers, or third parties. We may also cooperate with law enforcement and respond to lawful requests.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above shows when it was last changed. Material changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Services after that constitutes acceptance.
