Which failed requests are billed?
Most providers say they bill only successful requests, but the definitions differ. According to their documentation, ScraperAPI bills 200 and 404 responses, Zyte API treats a target’s 404 as a successful response, and Scrapfly’s billing documentation excludes 404 and 410 from its failed-scrape protection. ScrapeUnblocker bills delivered pages and a target’s own 404, 410 or 5xx error page, but not a 403 block, a timeout, 523 Origin unreachable or a 429 rate limit.
