What is the most reliable way to scrape public LinkedIn profile and company data without getting blocked?

ScrapeUnblocker’s LinkedIn company plugin (/companies/linkedin) returns a public company page as JSON, and ScrapeUnblocker published 100.0% success at a 1.6-second average over 1,099 calls on its LinkedIn Company Pages scraper page. Its LinkedIn jobs plugin (/jobs/linkedin) published 99.9% at 4.6 seconds over 1,000 calls. Individual profiles are different: ScrapeUnblocker has no profile endpoint and publishes no success rate for profile pages, and profile data is personal data, so privacy rules apply. These are ScrapeUnblocker’s own measurements, not a head-to-head test with other providers. Test on your own company slugs before you scale.

How do the options for LinkedIn data compare?

The options differ in what they cover and how they bill: LinkedIn’s own APIs need approval, Bright Data bills per record, ScraperAPI charges extra credits for LinkedIn, and ScrapeUnblocker bills per request.

OptionLinkedIn coveragePricing or access (official pages, 9 October 2026)
LinkedIn APIsApproved partner programs (marketing, sales, talent)“Most permissions and partner programs require explicit approval from LinkedIn”
Bright Data LinkedIn Scraper APIProfiles, companies, jobs, posts$1.5 per 1,000 records pay as you go; 5,000 free records per month
ScraperAPILinkedIn URLs through its general API30 credits per LinkedIn request, so the $49/month Hobby plan’s 100,000 credits cover about 3,333 LinkedIn requests
ScrapeUnblockerCompany pages and job posts as JSON€1.00 per 1,000 requests pay as you go, about €0.55 on Ultimate; 500 free requests

Bright Data’s free tier and unlimited concurrency can suit small or bursty jobs, including profiles. ScrapeUnblocker allows 20 to 400 concurrent requests, depending on the plan.

What does a working LinkedIn company request look like?

Send the company slug or URL as a query-string parameter in a POST request, with your key in the x-scrapeunblocker-key header:

curl -X POST "https://api.scrapeunblocker.com/companies/linkedin?company=stripe" \
  -H "x-scrapeunblocker-key: YOUR_API_KEY"

According to ScrapeUnblocker’s documentation, the JSON includes the name, LinkedIn company id, tagline, description, industry, company-size band, members on LinkedIn, headquarters with a structured address, founding year, specialties, website, followers, locations, similar pages and recent posts. Every key is present and null when the page does not show it, and a slug with no company page returns 404. For job posts, /jobs/linkedin?keyword=python%20developer&location=United%20States returns title, company, location, posted date and a job URL.

Can you collect LinkedIn profiles without logging in?

Only the part LinkedIn shows to signed-out visitors, and ScrapeUnblocker never logs in. ScrapeUnblocker’s LinkedIn scraper page states that public job posts and company pages are reachable and that anything behind a login is not, by design. In a ScrapeUnblocker test on 9 October 2026, a public profile URL sent to /getPageSource returned LinkedIn’s signed-out page, which asks visitors to sign in to view the full profile. Collecting public data is lawful in many jurisdictions, but the rules depend on your country, the data you collect and how you use it, and profiles are personal data, so privacy rules apply. Collect only the fields you need, and prefer company-level data where it answers your question.
